Kinder Transition with K/1

St Mary's has been running a Kindergarten Transition Program for our 2024 Kindergarten students. This program ran for 5 weeks where our transition children played games, made arts & crafts, read books and ate snacks with our current students. It has been lovely to see our 2024 kindergarten students getting ready to come to 'big school' next year. 

On the last transition session they had a teddy bears picnic where the children had their own teddy to share the picnic with. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow for the picnic to be outside as planned but everyone had a good time eating teddy biscuits they decorated themselves and reading the teddy bears picnic book.
