Class 3/4

Class 3/4 has been learning all about poetry! On Thursday we needed to get some inspiration for our poems about St Mary’s, so we went around the school with our clipboards and pencils in hand to explore all 5 senses within our school. In the office, we could hear Miss Leia typing on the computer,  and the sound of the telephone ringing. We could hear children learning and people talking. We could see the playground, the trees, and the garden beds. We could smell toast in the canteen from our breakfast. We could taste the water from the bubblers and the cold winter air. We can’t wait to finish and share our poems about St Mary’s!
